What is offset printing?
Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the transferred image (or “offset”) is transferred from the rubber board to the printing surface. One of the important functions in the printing process is pre-production. This phase ensures that all files are properly processed in print preparation. This includes converting to the appropriate CMYK color model, finalizing files, and creating records for each color of the work that is done in the press.
Offset lithography is one of the most common ways to create printed materials. Some of its common applications include: newspapers, magazines, brochures, office supplies and books. Compared to other printing methods, offset printing is most suitable for the economical production of large quantities of high quality prints in a way that requires little maintenance
Benefits of Offset printing versus other printing methods include:
